(Deutsch) Super sweet and cute babycookies by Miss Streusel

I always love to hear the news of friends or familymembers when they get pregnant and are having their children.
There have been quite a few great news like these lately so I wanted to make some sweet presents for my friends. Yes, this time I totally went with the clichée and made blue cookies for the little newborn boys :-).

I used the dough recipe of my stamp cookies, but you can choose any other recipe you want to as well.

Recipe for about 27 cookies:
125 g (4,5 oz) butter
125 g (4,5 oz) sugar
1 Tsp vanilla sugar or liquid vanilla
1 egg
250 g (9oz) flour
1 pinch of salt

decoration:
-fondant in different colors (I used light blue, dark blue and white)
-melted white chocolate to glue the different layers together

Let the dough rest in the fridge for at least one hour.
Babycookies (2)Flour your table, roll out the dough and cut out the cookies in your favorite shape and put them into the preheated (350-400°F) oven and bake them for 10-12 min.

Babycookies (4)While the cookies are in the oven, you can prepare the fondant. Roll out your lower layer, cut it into your prefered shape, then roll out the top layer and cut it into different shapes as well.

Leckere Cookies für die TaufeSpread some melted chocolate (not too much) on the cooled cookies and “glue” the lower layer onto it. Then add the second layer.
