These muffins are not only super delicious but also easy to make and great to make together with your kids.
You can either chose your favorite muffin dough, or just try mine. I chose an apple-muffin-recipe.
For 12 muffins:
250 g (9 oz) flour
2,5 tsp baking poweder
125 g (4,5 oz) sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
250 g (8 oz) yoghurt
80 ml (3/8 cup) vegetable oil
350 g (12 oz) apples
For the decoration:
wine gum laces
Preheat oven to about 375° Fahrenheit.
Mix flour with bakingpowder and sift it. Peel apples and cut them into pieces.
Mix sugar and the egg together, then add vanilla extract, oil and joghurt.
Now carefully mix in the sifted flour/bakingpowder and the apples.
Fill the muffin-mixture into the muffin moulds and bake them for about 25-30 min in the preheated oven until they are goldbrown.
After they have been cooled down, melt the chocolate and spread a little bit on top of the muffins in order to “glue” the rest of the decoration on it.
Create a little nest on top of the muffins out of the wine gum laces and the candy eggs and/or jelly beans.
